Algo Errado: the ska-punk sextet from Floripa releasing their second EP

Redação · April 28, 2026

Something beautiful is happening in the Floripa scene right now, and Algo Errado is an important part of that moment.

The sextet came together in the second half of 2023 and in February of 2024 dropped their self-titled debut EP, six tracks mixed by Thiago Trosso (Abraskadabra). They're not a "starter band" anymore: they're a band with a record, with a video, and with a second EP ready.

This isn't garage punk. It's ska-punk with horns

Let's be clear from the start: Algo Errado's sound isn't dry punk. It's ska-punk/pop-punk with trumpet and trombone. Big lineup, horns talking to the guitar, vocals delivering lyrics like a joke that needs to be heard to the end. It's a sound in direct conversation with the Catarinense legacy of bands like Abraskadabra, but with its own voice.

Current lineup: Carol Tirloni on vocals (also in Oyster), Cristiano "Crash" Manoel on guitar, Nicholas di Lucia on bass, George Polidoro on drums (ex-Lugh), João Antonioli on trumpet and Thiago Victorino on trombone.

The debut EP (2024)

Six tracks on Spotify, in order:

  1. Intro
  2. Não Dá Mais
  3. Dez de Life (with a video directed by Eduardo Engelbrecht)
  4. Dona Helena
  5. Porforofobia
  6. A Clássica

It's the kind of record you listen to from start to finish without skipping a track. Fun lyrics without being silly. Energy without chaos.

What's coming

On March 6, at Desgosto Bar, Algo Errado shares the stage with Casa Laranja and Running 4 Nothing, and everything points to this being the release night of their second EP, A Vida Cobra, set for 2026 via Desgosto Discos.

For anyone following the scene, this lineup is worth more than a press release. It brings together names that respect each other's sound.
