About Onda

Made by people who live the scene.

Onda is the living map of Brazil's authorial music. It started in Florianópolis, but it doesn't stay on the island. It brings band, venue and studio together in one place, from every corner of the country, across every genre, no snobbery. It's not a marketing project. It's the natural continuation of the work of people who already opened a venue, held the door, got grants approved and put bands on stage.

Haôma Baixo Centro
Where it came from

Haôma Baixo Centro

A cultural hub in the heart of Florianópolis, at Avenida Hercílio Luz 455. The same address held a venue, a bar and a professional studio for rehearsal and recording. It was dedicated to authorial music and independent artists, with a stage, quality sound and theatrical lighting, and an open calendar for band, singer, DJ, poet, collective and theater group.

More than a bar, it was a safe place to create, gather and recognize each other, valuing authenticity over numbers. It ran from 2019 through March 2026, with shows every week, and it was over five years of life inside that place that gave rise to Onda.

Geovania Ramos
Who runs it

Geovania Ramos

Owner of 455 Produções and former owner of Haôma Baixo Centro. Cultural producer with two approved grants and creator of Encontros Interculturais, a project that brings together music, art and people from different backgrounds on the same stage. Geovania knows the scene from the ground up: booking bands, building lineups, taking care of structure and making shows actually happen. That lived experience is what gives Onda its tone.

Fabrício Sfreddo
Who runs it

Fabrício Sfreddo

Cultural producer. He worked at Café do CIC, in Florianópolis, and it was there, watching band after band with nowhere to play and no place to be seen, that he had the idea for Haôma. Haôma Baixo Centro became real and stood from 2019 through March 2026, with weekly performances of authorial bands for over five years. As a producer, he got two grants approved, one of them for cultural merit.

After the Haôma sale, he dove head first into creating Onda BR Music. He can't stay away from music, and Onda is the way to keep opening space for the scene, now for all of Brazil.

455 Produções
The production company

455 Produções

Carries Haôma's address in its name. It's the production company run by Geovania, who keeps doing the ground work of the scene: booking bands, building lineups, taking care of structure and putting the show on. 455 is the proof that Onda is born from the inside, from people who actually produce.

Encontros Interculturais
The festival

Encontros Interculturais

Festival created by Geovania that celebrates culture that brings people together and music that transforms. It puts people from different backgrounds on the same stage and is the living proof of what Onda believes: the scene gets stronger when no one is left out.

What Onda is

Simple and big at the same time: bring band, venue and studio together in one place, from every corner of Brazil, across every genre. From indie to trap, from metal to samba, from hardcore to MPB. If it's authorial and Brazilian, there's room here. New or veteran band, all fit.

It's fast, it's clean and it was made to be found on Google and quoted by the scene. The focus is the music, and the sound is loud.

Turn it up.

Brazil is playing.
